Understanding the Mind through Bodily Experience: The SomatoDrama Effect Model will be available for pre-order from February 18, 2026.
For me, this book is not merely an academic work: it is an inner Camino, a rebirth… a story of healing. Not only in theory, but in practice as well. Through the journey of my own life.
I am profoundly grateful to Routledge Books for the months of intense work, shared reflection, and support I have experienced as an author in this process.
Dr Laszlo BUDA, Dr Balazs LAZAR, Dr Arpad KANTOR, Dr Szabolcs TAKACS, Dr Pálma Virág FEHER, Adrienn RÉDL, and Mária KELEMENNÉ MIKO – You are not only professional, but also deeply human pillars of the path I am now walking… and the path we are walking together with this book. I believe your voices are the true jewels of this creation…
And the foundations… the beginning: my heartfelt thanks to Medicina Publishing, who, by bringing forth the Hungarian edition, gave wings to something I never dreamed could travel so far. Within me, within others… and now it seems, soon within anyone in the world who feels called by what it carries… Quo vadis SomatoDrama? The journey begins here.

May the sun shine on You, SomatoDrama…
Work on the manuscript of the book: Understanding the Mind through Bodily Experience: the SomatoDrama Effect Model is in progress. (July 2025)
On the evening of 3 October 2025…
I remember, when I was an exchange student aged fourteen or fifteen, walking the streets of Amsterdam one February afternoon, when I suddenly found myself in front of the Waterstones bookstore. The mere sight of it was inviting.
I spent a long time hiding among the shelves, leafing through books and wondering what path a piece of writing would take to become a book. My train of thought was interrupted when my fellow students literally found me between the lines. The nearby pancake house closed shortly after, and it would have been a sin to wait for it.
I still carefully keep the Waterstones bookmark from when I was fifteen, along with the book I walked out of the store with into the cold Amsterdam winter. However, I never dreamed that, 11 years later, my adolescent reflection of ‘I don’t even understand how it came about’ might make sense.
Since last night, I have been under the influence of what I saw: the upcoming release of the English version of the book Understanding the Mind through Bodily Experience: The SomatoDrama Effect Model. The cover of this book, which is dear to my heart, has been adopted by many other foreign publishers and stores, as well as Waterstones London.
It will therefore definitely be available on various book platforms in Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Canada, Switzerland and Austria.
Pre-orders open on 18 February 2026, and according to our plans, the book will be released on 11 March 2026.
I am endlessly grateful to Routledge Books for publishing this book and making my teenage dream come true, and to Medicina Publishing for the support on this journey.
I am experiencing all of this now as if I were looking back at an old, somewhat surreal dream, only to realise that I had somehow entered reality in the process.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
