I am grateful. Ten years in a (new) story and almost as long studying and practicing the method.
From 18-year-old Anna to my current self, slowly approaching 27…
As with all the methods I have learned and applied, Ultra-Brief Therapy (UBT) also became ingrained in me through experience at the time and shaped my approach…
I was asked by Dr. László Buda, author of the book written in Hungarian Sorsfordító találkozás önmagunkkal and developer of the UBT method, to write a specific case study for the mentioned opus. I said yes. Just like almost 10 years ago, when Dr. László Buda approached me with a similar surprise, offering me the opportunity to learn the method.
Fate repeats itself. At the same time, those of us who live our „fate” are constantly changing. Looking back on my journey so far, I see many layers and even more personal experiences condensed into it…
I am grateful for every lesson – and I wholeheartedly recommend this new book for the Hungarian-speaking readers.
What makes this book special is that it also presents case studies from certified UBT consultants who have been trained in the UBT method and now form a therapists-community. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this formation.
The book is published by Good Life Books and is available from November 2025.
Regarding my appearance as a consultant in the book (through the presentation of my case study), I would like to quote here Mark Twain:
„They did not know it was impossible so they did it”.
