I am Anna Üveges, psychologist, writer, researcher, Ultrabrief Therapy Consultant, artist, author of the book The Message of Our Soul Through the Pathways of Our Body/The SomatoDrama Effect Model (the title of the Hungarian publication is: Lelkünk üzenete testünk útjain- A SzomatDráma-hatásmodell, Medicina Kiadó, 2024).
Increasingly, I find that it is vital to stay in touch with ourselves in the midst of our hectic everyday lives, and that our own body signals are more than authentic and unvarnishedly honest signposts. The question is, are we paying enough attention to them?

I was born in 1998 in Novi Sad, in the former Yugoslavia. I graduated from the Institute of Psychology, (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,) at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church, in Budapest, Hungary.
I started my practice as a psychologist in 2022 at the Mindset Therapy and Counselling Centre (Mindset Terápiás és Tanácsadó Központ) in Budapest, where, in addition to accompanying individual self-awareness processes, I worked as a research group leader and facilitated personality development groups for young people interested in the practice of psychology and self-awareness in Budapest and across the country.
I currently work in Budapest in the psychology centre having the following name: Változás Tere Pszichológiai Központ, where besides individual consultations, I offer self-awareness groups based on my own method, and method development. I try to accompany my clients on their path to spiritual and physical healing through a modern methodological approach and on the path of self-identity. My long- term goals include mastering methods of trauma treatment and the study and practice of dynamically evolving neuropsychology.

I integrate my work as a psychologist with the intensive, deep and effective consultation method of Ultrashort Therapy® developed by Dr. László Buda, which allows you to gain insights into the psychological factors, relationship patterns and functioning behind your physical or life symptoms in a reasonable time, but at your own pace. Awareness of these is in itself a healing process: the method supports self-healing processes in a personalised and practice-oriented way and relieves stress and anxiety, while the steps to reach the desired goal, the "how to go on", become easier to outline. These are also key points for recognising your own potential and role in a crisis. Especially when you feel you may have lost your inner grip and control over what is happening in your life.
My profession is a unique combination of spiritual care, scientific research and artistic creation. The focus of my professional interests is the relationship between body and soul, the world of the practice and study of body-oriented methods based on a nondual approach. In this context, I am credited with the development of the first autonomous analytical model based on a scientific investigation of the efficacy of the SomatoDrama® method, and the development of a drawing methodology that integrates body-focused approaches with traditional right-brain drawing. To this day, our meeting with my Master, Prof. Dr. Emőke Bagdy, is the first milestone in my commitment to spiritual help. My big dream was fulfilled when I was able to embark on the path of education in trauma therapy through the method of Dr. Gábor Máté, a Canadian doctor, writer and trauma therapist of Hungarian origin, Sat Dharam Kaur ND. The Compassionate Inquiry method stands for Compassionate Exploration. It is a body- and trauma-based psychotherapy method optimized for exploring, processing and resolving trauma.
As a private person, I also believe that it is important to connect not only when everything is „fine” in our lives. The real power lies in daring to ask for help when we feel we cannot climb the mountains ahead of us alone. I help you on your journey to physical and spiritual healing with a modern toolkit that I feel is effective, profound and long-lasting in my own life to this day.
During our individual sessions, I can support you you will have the opportunity to reconnect with your identity in a safe space of connection, to live your true emotions through your body’s messages, to experience your power and your inner axis that keeps you in balance, which are your inexhaustible spiritual resources for a lifetime.
